Sandakan - bring Angie back to hometown

SANDAKAN, Sabah, my lovely hometown. Seafood is one of the co-product in Sandakan. This restaurant is located at the first floor of a old shoplot, only local knows this place. The food is nice, fresh, BIG & cheap.

This temple named "普济寺", pronounced "Pu Ji Si" which located at the high hill of Sandakan. The view from the temple is the Sandakan old city. Sandakan also known as 'Little Hong Kong', because there is a view that shows Sandakan looks like Little Hong Kong.

Sandakan's famous animal --> Orang Utan. They live in Sepilok which is a wild & protected place.

My father's brother with light blue shirt spend me steampot buffet for dinner. Angie is here also but she was taking photo for us.

My father spend me & Angie for dinner at Sapporo Snacks House. There is famous on pandan leaf chicken and the food is cheap and tasty.

Angie love this cafe --> English Tea House. Quiet, windy & full of English old style feel, what a good place for chatting.

This home made meal was cooked by my aunty. Simple & simply awesome food. The green vege was picked from the back of my house which is planted by her too. I really miss the home made food which is not easy to have in KL city life.

Another Sandakan famous product --> Century Egg Dumpling. Wow! Simply delicious and you can't miss when you travel to this small town.
